Adios 2011

So we have approximately 13 1/2 hours left in 2011. Goodbye old man, hello baby!

2011 was a good year. Mostly the same ole same ole. Stagecoach was fun, ran into my old room mate Gina and now we've been in contact with each other for a while. We moved. We took the kids to their first and second Padres games. Where we also ran into Gina and her kids. Had some fun summer parties in my sisters new pool.

In 2012, I'm hoping to start losing more weight. It's been a struggle which a lot of people share. When I started Weight Watchers back in July 2010 it was easy. Then they changed the program and I stalled. It's been hard trying to find the motivation when weight wasn't coming off. But now, the program has changed again and my faith is renewed. An old school friend of mine is also doing WW with me and together we can keep each other motivated. I'll be keeping updates on my journey.

Also in 2012, Charlie and I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. I'm hoping I can get him to go somewhere with me. I just get the feeling he doesn't want to go anywhere. But, we have 7 months to decide. I hope we have a happy healthy year with a lot of fun adventures for our family.

I hope everyone has a great 2012. Wishing you blessings, safety, health and lots of laughs with friends and family.

The meaning of my blog title.

I chose "The Wanna Be Everything" because I want to be a good wife, a good mom, a chef, I just wanna be everything.

New at this

Well, here it is. My first blog. I guess I'm no longer a virgin. Ha!

I decided to start this blog because I need an outlet, for many reasons. I recently had a major break down in front of some people. I love these people but was totally embarrassed. I mean, how can I break down over peas, come on now. ;o) Ok, it wasn't about peas but it was about life. I keep things bottled in and try to put on a brave face but sometimes I need to cry, scream, laugh, slap myself, whatever and I'm hoping this will be an outlet for that. BUT, also for the fun stuff too. Like my loves: my family, trying to make life fun and funny for my kids, cooking, baking, my struggle to lose weight and anything else I can think of.

I hope you will read and maybe comment, encourage me to keep going to Weight Watchers. Maybe some of you know how I can fix things or maybe share a recipe. But hopefully learn to laugh at yourself like I need to learn to do more.
